Jenny Kush Strain, It’s traditional to spill alcohol on the ground in remembrance of a friend or loved one who has passed away. Some who consume cannabis may want to burn a joint. Friends of cannabis activist Jenny Kush, who was killed by an intoxicated driver, feel that honoring her requires more than just rolling one.

In the early 2010s, Kush—real name Jennifer Monson—was a prominent figure in Denver’s cannabis scene. She worked at a nearby glassware store, hosted a well-liked online radio show on cannabis, and supported both medical and recreational marijuana use. Kush was a friend of many people in the Denver marijuana scene who are still active today. She was killed nearly seven years ago when an inebriated driver traveling the wrong way on I-25 struck her car in the early hours of September 1, 2013.

Scott Reach, the creator of Denver’s House of Dankness dispensary and Rare Dankness genetics, has fond memories of Kush. After meeting, they became close friends, and when Reach and his wife had to travel for work, Kush would watch the house and take care of the kids. Kush had multiple children of her own, all of whom were still in puberty at the time of her death.

Remaining true to his knowledge, Reach chose to posthumously memorialize Kush by naming a strain after his friend, much as Jack Herer was remembered, and he gave the proceeds from the sale of seeds to a trust fund for her children. Jenny Kush is a cross of Amnesia Haze and Rare Dankness #2 from Reach. It has classic Amsterdam flavors and effects, including sweet notes of gas, bubble gum, and tropical fruit, along with a strong, stress-relieving high. It was simply incredibly vivid, brilliant, and distinct. It brings you happiness when you smoke it. It fosters creativity,” claims Reach. “It kind of inspires you to get out and do something, and that was fitting for her.

Reach’s children are old enough to spend the money he raised, and the company ceased making Jenny Kush seeds a few years ago. However, Jenny Kush continues to grow and be sold in dispensaries from Nevada to Michigan, where her spirit is still felt by cannabis users nationwide. The strain is available in the Denver region at Emerald Fields, Helping Hands Herbals, Lova, RiverRock, and Starbuds, but why not visit the source? Jenny Kush is available for purchase at House of Dankness for both medicinal and recreational purposes, and her potency remains unchanged from seven years ago.

Jenny Kush Looks

With peach-colored pistils, black fan leaves, and a prickly layer of trichomes, Jenny Kush’s buds are bright green, wide, and slightly fluffy.

Jenny Kush Smell

Strong scents of wet earth, dragonfruit, and lemon zest mix with tart, sweet notes of gas fumes and bubble gum, evoking memories of soapy Jack Herer or a less citrus-heavy Golden Goat.

Jenny Kush Flavor

The flavor of Jenny Kush begins with a thick, chalky sweetness that practically coats the taste buds. Rubbery, sour notes cut through the bubble gum overtones, leaving behind dirty, zesty mango flavors.

Effects

A small amount of Jenny Kush gives me an instant rush of excitement and curiosity without making me feel hungry like a hippo. But if I indulge in anything more than a bong rip or bowl of my own food, I turn into a lost, drooling mess that almost puts me to sleep before I wake up a few hours later. Just enough to turn off my thoughts, not enough to put me to sleep.

A commemorative strain called Jenny Kush was created in honor of Jenny. This plant has genetics from Rare Dankness #2 and Amnesia Haze. Although Jenny Kush is a potent sativa strain that produces cheerful and uplifting highs—the key features of Jenny herself—one might anticipate it to be an indica-dominant strain.

The 60–70 day flowering phase is over. This plant is extremely lovely since the trichomes can reach a great distance along the secondary fan leaves and sugar leaves. You may grow Jenny Kush outside or indoors. She is able to stand at a moderate height and adapt to almost any setting. The lemon/lime terpene profile that Jenny Kush emanates is excellent for concentration production .
